DK Diesel has one of the largest exchange programs in the Midwest with a huge inventory of over 1000 exchange pumps and 3000 injectors. We can provide exchange units for most equipment no matter how old or new, eliminating costly down time for our customers.

History
DK Diesel began doing business in 1973. Owners, John Dagel and Al Kasperson operated out of a small building in Watertown, SD until March 1984 when growth required a move to their current larger facility. Two additional vehicle service bays were added in 1992 to accommodate the continued growth. In May of 2000 the current owners, Rex Gerber, Jr. and Blaine Wollman purchased DK Diesel from Dagel and Kasperson. Together they brought 22 years of combined experience to the company. DK Diesel currently employs 7 full-time employees at its Watertown location. In 2003, Rex & Blaine decided to expand DK Diesel’s service area and purchased a fuel injection shop in Montevideo, MN. DK Diesel of Montevideo currently employs 3 full-time technicians and offers the same quality of workmanship customers have come to expect at the Watertown location.
In the spring of 2008, Rex and Blaine decided to take on two more large projects that would broaden the growth and coverage area of DK Diesel. The first project was a 5000 square foot addition to the Watertown location. Two additional service bays were added to the shop to allow repair and service for large farm equipment.
The second project was the purchase of a diesel shop located in Fort Dodge, Iowa. DK Diesel of Fort Dodge (formerly Midwest Diesel) employs 6 full-time employees and provides the same quality workmanship as DK Diesel’s other two locations.
