The St. Louis location became part of Truck Centers, Inc. when it was purchased from the Blumhoff family in May 1995. This purchase was the company’s first move across the river into Missouri. Truck Centers in St. Louis currently employs about 65 full time employees. The service department alone houses approximately twenty five technicians that are Freightliner or ASE certified. Ongoing training at the Truck Centers, Inc. training center keeps all of these technicians up to date on the latest industry technology. The parts department employs close to a dozen certified Freightliner parts professionals.

Truck Centers Inc., based in Troy IL, is a family owned dealer group representing Freightliner, Western Star, Fuso, Ottawa and Detroit performance products. We provide full range service to the heavy truck industry, from truck sales, parts, service, body shop and training with eight convenient locations throughout Illinois and Missouri including the St. Louis Metro area. Strong relationships with our customers, manufacturers and suppliers form the foundation upon which we’ve built the leading organization we are today.

Started in 1970, Truck Centers Inc. was one of the first heavy truck dealers to receive a Freightliner franchise in 1977. We’ve come a long way since then. Over 40 years in the truck sales business has seen us grow from $1 million to over $450 million in annual sales and from fifteen to over 400 employees. Today Truck Centers has 130 service bays and over 115 technicians to quickly accommodate all heavy duty truck repairs for any brand of truck.

We now proudly operate seven locations, five truck sales and service dealerships and two divisions of Truck Centers Inc. across Illinois and Missouri. Our heavy truck lines now include Freightliner, Western Star, Sterling, Ottawa, and Fuso Mitsubishi. We offer both new and used trucks, and our parts and service departments have won numerous awards.
