About Us
This is where it all started….right here in Bakersfield back in 1963 on the same property where we sit today. Back then we were known as Valley GM Diesel, an authorized heavy-duty power distributor for General Motors.
A lot has changed over the years. Today the Bakersfield facility is a WheelTime Quality Truck Center, and as we have been for over 60 years, a Detroit Diesel and Allison Transmission authorized distributor. With easy highway access, we are convenient for our on-highway heavy-duty truck, bus and fire truck customers.
Because of our location in the San Joaquin Valley, several of our customers come from the agricultural market. We also serve the construction, industrial and mining customers with off-highway products from MTU, DEUTZ, MTU Onsite Energy, Volvo Penta and others.
The Bakersfield employees take a certain amount of pride knowing that this is where it all started. They continue to uphold the business model that founders Hampton Lee and Clark Lee set forth some 48 years ago.
