About Us

Valley’s Ontario facility opened in March 2008 as a dedicated off-highway operation for heavy-duty engine repowers, power generation, design engineering and heavy fabrication. It is the home of our MTU Onsite Energy Sales team and our Applications Engineering Department.

The roll-up doors that you see on the left are the testing bays for large bore engines, including the MTU S2000 and S4000, Waukesha and Electro- Motive units. There are a total of six testing bays.

Our Applications Engineering Department is instrumental in the design and testing of the custom power generation units we provide. A 4000kW resistive and reactive load bank and 15kV transformer are used to perform load testing on the power units before shipment and for diagnostic purposes.

A 5000 gallon above-ground diesel fuel tank is utilized for on-site testing of the diesel gensets to insure proper operation prior to shipment and for special witness testing. The cooling tower is used for engine cooling of special designed gensets that require a remote radiator or for heat exchanger cooled units.

Two 15-ton overhead cranes provide easy moving of up to 60,000 lbs of equipment for the packaging capability of custom MTU, and EMD gensets. All service technicians receive continuous factory and in-house training to keep them up to date on the latest technologies.
