About Us
Specialized Diesel and Conversions (formally known as Sno-Valley Diesel) was formed in 2010. Its founder, Steve Sloate started from a service truck performing mobile diesel repair on trucks and equipment. Shortly after, he found a high demand for the repair of light duty pickups, with the popularity still growing for diesel pickups. As most know, there are many problems with the 6.0 Powerstroke. Steve learned these common problems and how they were developing. He didn't just fix the problem, but found an upgraded solution.... a CUMMINS CONVERSION! . Specializing in Ford Powerstrokes, Steve and his team are able to quickly and efficiently diagnose and repair the problems. Steve was working in a small shop, as Sno-Valley Diesel, outside of town and has since moved to a much larger shop in Monroe to meet the needs of space and larger customer demand. His passion for restoring and building trucks for customers, is where "Specialized Diesel and Conversions" developed.
