Vehicle service department provides diagnosis and repair of vehicle performance and drive-ability concerns. We have the capability of servicing any diesel from the small single cylinder engines found in the lawn and garden equipment to the twelve cylinder big bore diesels found in the class eight trucks and off highway equipment.

Today we have an eight bay fully secured service facility staffed with 4 factory-trained technicians to handle this task. This team has the capability of troubleshooting and the equipment to assist in diagnosing diesel fuel system problems. Our experience also includes turbochargers and air intake system evaluations, exhaust system analysis, and the installation of performance exhaust systems for light duty trucks and motor homes.

Emission Station

Our vehicle service department is also an Ontario Emission Station for diesel engines, and has the equipment to provide full service diesel emission testing. If your engine does not pass the limits set by the government, we have the knowledge and experience to make the necessary adjustments or repairs to bring your vehicle’s emission within the legal limits.

Chassis Dyno

Taylor Diesel is equipped with an in-house chassis dyno. The dyno is a great tool for diagnostics. The dyno is capable of reading up to 1200 horsepower and 2500 foot pounds of torque. Not only is it a great tool for reading horsepower and torque but finding a drive train noise is much easier on the dyno.

Quick diagnostics helps you get back on the road faster. The dyno can handle everything from cars to tractor-trailers. Twin axle no problem the dyno is equipped to handle the load.

Injection Service

The service department consists of 4 factory-trained technicians, providing us with 60 years of combined experience.

They are constantly attending factory training schools and update seminars. This training is needed to gain the knowledge for troubleshooting the ever-changing technology being experienced in the diesel fuel injection industry.

Our focus is to provide a complete rebuilding service on all makes of diesel fuel injection pumps, injectors, and turbochargers. We have secured all of the major manufacturers who have awarded us with the authorization to provide warranty service on these fuel injection systems with the field capabilities to repair and submit the warranty paperwork. The most popular units are on our shelf already rebuilt to accelerate the turnaround process.

We have two "state of the art" Hartridge computerized injection pump test benches. These test stands are manufactured to meet the demands of the new, high output fuel systems and the close tolerances in fuel calibration. These requirements are driven by federal emission guidelines, which the engine manufacturers such as Cummins, Mack, Detroit & Caterpillar are required to maintain.

Parts Department

Both of our service departments rely on our parts department to supply them with the parts required to do these necessary repairs. This department is staffed by 3 factory-trained professionals with a combined experience of over 40 years. These technicians have the knowledge and experience to assist you with any part or system required to make your vehicle run smooth and keep it on the road or at the job site. This department also processes the factory warranty for all the product lines we represent which are installed on your vehicle either from new or as after market products.With daily shipments in and out of our warehouse, we keep the products moving to you, which will reduce your down time.

Generators

Today Onan branded products are built by Cummins Power Generation, a subsidiary of Cummins Inc. and a world leader in the design and manufacture of power generation products and services. Onan branded products are used in recreational vehicle, marine, commercial mobile, residential standby and portable applications. Cummins Power Generation branded products include temporary or permanent pre-integrated Power Command power systems and related accessories. Yamaha has a great new line of smart generator's. Easy to start ultra quiet units are great on the work site or as back up in the event of a power outage.
